Transform into your Spirit Animal - Seattle Conceptual Photographer

Erin is my dear friend pictured below (the black hair) This day she brought her friend Beth with her along- she was visiting from out of state and we had never met. Beth thought she was just innocently observing this photo shoot…. but I threw her in the mix, ha! She did fabulous I love her! I also brought my dog Bruce along because he likes to watch.

We were suppose to meet at a waterfall up in the mountains, I had this entire shoot set around this one tree in my mind. Turned out both roads leading to the waterfall and creepy tree I so desperately wanted were closed. Shit. The old me would have freaked out at this point. THESE GIRLS DROVE TWO HOURS TO DO THIS! Shoot me now! Now days, I go with the flow.

I had a back up location in mind and we headed there. I had about 20 minutes to clear this creepy tree shoot out of my mind and to try to wrap my head around a new location. Breath. Music. Zen. Metal. Sage.

I like to help woman connect with nature and therefore with themselves. I want them to see themselves in a different light, and find beauty in being alone. I also love to connect them with a spirit animal in hopes to show the beauty of all animals all around us and within us. I transform them into part woman, part creature.

It is my hope that one day people will see and appreciate the beauty of animals, and that they will all be treated with the dignity and respect that they deserve.

So these woman became a fox and a jackalope. Wonderful creatures when mixed with your human self.

Thank you to my trusty dog, Bruce, for quietly observing and offering his own animal magic to the shoot.
