I can't believe it’s been five years since my Iceland trip. Once and a while I like going back into an old shoot and re-editing it with new eyes. Last night while finishing up the latest season of Vikings, I was compelled to go dig back in here and play. I will re edit old images in my new way, and I also find some that I overlooked for another.

Photographing in Iceland was like all my dreams coming true. Photography and travel, my two loves. Truth be told, I would love these two loves of mine to combine forces a little more often. So I decided that writing this blog would also put it out there into the Universe. A manifesto.

This photography trip marked the beginning of the “new me” I had just quit drinking, I was about to be going all the way vegan finally, and I saw the world with new eyes. I began diving into self-improvement in all ways. Lifestyle, spiritual, getting in touch with my inner witchy side. I heard her whispers as a kid, now I could finally quiet the voices and listen along side the raven calls in Iceland.

A healing adventure.

Thank you to my darling friend in these images who braved so much for this adventure. It was absolutely frigid out-and she was going through some intense life changing obstacles of her own. Bad Ass Woman, I love you. Thank you for creating this special art with me.

From the bottom of my heart (that’s deep!) THANK YOU for being here!
