I’m so excited to share this shoot(finally) The world must see! I love working with these birds of prey, and you can too!

This photo shoot was to showcase HOLLY - a beautiful person and passionate musician. You can find her on Instagram HERE I LOVE LOVE LOVE working with Holly. She opens up about herself during the shoot and it seeps into the images.

John the Falconer is magical to work with. He teaches you about the birds the entire shoot and guides you every step of the way. He stays close the whole time and teaches you the best way to handle the birds.

My advice for being around the birds is - keep a kind, calm, loving demeanor. This is usually not a problem if you are an animal lover because just being in their presence is magical in itself. I am in a state of awe and gratitude when I get to be near these birds, and they can feel it.

We stated the shoot in the beautiful sun, showcasing the light inside of Holly. Her soul shines through with the sun. We dug a little deeper with a new dress (HOLY CLOTHING) and the sacred owls. Holy expressed before the shoot that she wished to burn a piece of paper symbolizing something she wanted to leave in the past. I brought my little cauldron and we ended the shoot with darker imagery with Mr. Peabody the Vulture, and Holly burning away what no longer served her. I loved this idea of starting light, going in the middle, and ending with the dark and magical.

When I got out of my car, I was greeted by this beautiful female turkey and her girlfriend. They cruised to the forest where we shot and assisted me there. PURE BLISS for this bird lover!
